On June 1st 2017, our plant site had its 25th year jubilee. We are very proud of our corporation always being able to compete under different owners and with various types of car and truck hinges. At the plant site in Hainichen, the development of products is being actively advanced. Hainichen is also the main plant for our production and quality control. Right now, 365 employees are mostly working in shifts with perpetual contracts and agreed wages. 15 apprentices are undergoing their metal working apprenticeship at Innomotive Systems Hainichen with final exams at the Chambers of Industry and Commerce, respectively a degree at one of the Saxon universities of cooperative education. Nanjing, China After the takeover of Innomotive Systems Hainichen Ltd. by SUMEC in 2016, SUMEC decided the construction of a greenfield production plant at Nanjing, China. Nanjing is located 250 kilometers northwest of Shanghai and is another long-standing industry- and business-location. With China becoming one of the biggest and most important locations for automobile manufacturers as well as for automotive suppliers, and with a high local demand, the new plant in Nanjing can guarantee customer service and customer satisfaction on site. The Chinese automobile market developed rapidly over the course of the last 20 years and is expected to continue this development with constant growth in the next ten years. The plant in Nanjing will not only ensure more contracts and on-site service, it will also ensure a better cost-structure and improve the competitiveness of ISH Ltd. as well. First production tasks in mechanical processing started in the first half of 2017 at the plant in Nanjing.
