Corporate History

Innomotive Systems Hainichen can look back on a long corporate history beginning in 1992. In 1992 under the name of „Lunke und Sohn Produktions GmbH” production sites and employees were acquired from the old BARKAS plant in Hainichen. Over the years, the product and client portfolio expanded continuously and the corporation grew under different owners.

1933

Start of the production of vehicles of the brand DKW. Starting 1934 under the name of „FRAMO-Werke GmbH Hainichen”

1949

Revival of the automotive production after the war:
Manufacturing of the minivan „FRAMO”

1961

Production of the minivan „B1000“ at the BARKAS plants
1990 German reunification

1991

Termination of production and sell-off of the production sites of the BARKAS plants by the trust
